White-eyed Vireo (Vireo griseus) (1) CONFIRMED
– Reported Nov 29, 2016 12:09 by Matthew Tobey
– Pinewood Drive + Stenson Park, Peterborough, Ontario

Checklist:
– Media: 1 Photo
– Comments: “First winter bird. Northeast corner of the park by the concrete inlet. Tended to skulk in dense tangles close to the ground.”

Note:  The vireo popped up from the area around the culvert in the northeast corner of the park. I joined Matthew at 2:00 pm to search for the bird but we couldn’t find it after an hour of searching. There is also good habitat on the east side of Pinewood Drive opposite the park so if anyone goes to look for the bird it would be worthwhile searching there as well.  Luke Berg
