Cardinal and flicker (Sue Paradisis)

Cardinal and flicker (Sue Paradisis)

It has been so busy in my yard since the storm! The usual pair of cardinals has been joined by 4 more males and another female. They are so pretty in the ice and snow covered crabapple trees. I have had almost constant activity averaging a couple dozen birds all day long and 14 different species including a Northern Flicker yesterday and a Cooper’s Hawk Christmas day. With my living room and dining room windows facing the feeding station, my Christmas day company was entertained.        Sue Paradisis, Tudor Crescent
