I received a telephone call from a property owner near Presqu’ile Provincial Park, who reported that in her fairly large alfalfa/cover field, which was cut early and now has lots of blooming plants, she has seen “hundreds” of monarchs this week.  142 monarchs reported yesterday at Detroit River Hawk Watch. None reported today. 61 yesterday at Holiday Beach Conservation Area, near Windsor, Ontario.   Don Davis, Toronto

We tagged 205 Monarchs in 3 hours at Lynde Shores Conservation Area in Whitby the afternoon of Tuesday, Sept. 15.  Jim Ellis, Oshawa

Note: 1-2  Monarchs still coming to Mexican Sunflower (Tithonia) in my garden in Peterborough. Two on Sept. 18  D.M.
