Red-bellied Woodpecker – Tom Baker
I just finished reading the article you wrote about the Red-bellied Woodpecker for the Peterborough Examiner 2010. I am happy to say that we had a Red-bellied Woodpecker visit our bird feeder in Jan. of this year. I have not seen one before or since.
I also want to tell you that on Jan. 1, 2014 while my family and I were cross-county skiing on Fourth Line in Millbrook a Bald Eagle flew overhead. I have since asked friends as well as the residents of the Fourth Line Theater if they have ever seen a bald Eagle in the area. They all said no.
