– Comments: “Seen near area where they were seen in previous year in grassy wetland. 1 seen from close range 5 -10ft Buffy on front, faint eye-line, checkered pattern on wings, white lines on back…but no where near as contrasty as Marsh Wren. Also very sandy buffy overall. Didn’t show redish or black tinges like the Marsh Wren. Were making chek notes…but on a couple of rare occasions these turned into the trill that seems to stay on one pitch and is way less long and musical then Marsh Wren.”
