At about 3pm on Sunday, December 27, I saw 2,000 – 3,000 Canada Geese flying west & then north over County Road 28 near Rice Lake. At one point, there were dozens of flocks of 10 -100 geese almost from the eastern to western horizon.

A Red-bellied Woodpecker visited our feeder on Maple Crescent the same afternoon.
