While walking yesterday morning (Nov. 30 at 8am) we spotted a large grey owl. It was perched on a tree branch out in the open and flew slowly to another tree as we approached. It was large and grey with no ear tufts.  I’m quite sure it was a  Great Gray Owl.  We had two dogs with us so we

didn’t try to follow it. It was in Selwyn Conservation area at the north end of the trail, where the trail is close to a cottage road. I’ve seen foxes there a few times, so hunting is probably good. I’ll keep my camera with me & let you know if we see it again.
