At noon today, the highlight was a basic plumaged Horned Grebe north of the point, viewed from the cemetery. The Horned Grebe was in the middle of a large (~50 birds) flock of Hooded Mergansers. On the ice at the SW corner of the lake (just south of the art gallery) was a single adult Iceland Gull. Behind Harvey’s/Millenium Park there was a single American Coot.
