I have only twice in my career had the opportunity to come across an endangered species while on my way into work. The first time was about 17 years ago while driving to the East Gate of Algonquin Park and driving up to a Peregrine Falcon standing on the roadway, right on the centreline. Then, this morning at 8:15 a.m., as I walked to Robinson Place in downtown Peterborough and I looked up at the historic Clock Tower in Peterborough Square and there is another Peregrine Falcon! This time I got the pictures to prove it. What a way to start the day!
