Huge flocks of Common Mergansers at Gannon Narrows and on Stony Lake

On Wednesday Dec. 30 at 4:30 pm at the Gannon Narrows Causeway (Lakehurst Road), which crosses Buckhorn Lake, there were 200-300 Common Mergansers at the southeast side having a feeding frenzy. Not sure if they will be there Thursday morning. Jane Philpott

Note: Luke Berg had 482 Common Mergansers on Stony Lake on Dec. 30 as well.
