At lunch today, I checked out Little Lake. There were the most gulls I have seen this winter. I viewed from the south side of the lake. Herring Gull – ~600 mostly adults Ring-billed Gulls – 20 all adults Iceland Gull – 2 adult, 2 first winter Glaucous Gull – 1 first winter Great Black-backed Gull – 2 first winter. Lots of sleeping gulls and gulls packed tight so I likely missed a bunch.
