Just heard my first Savannah Sparrow of the year singing in the back alfalfa field. In previous years, they usually show at my place between April 11th to 15th. So maybe birds will start showing up on time now (instead of weeks late). Of note, yesterday I had more small flocks of redpolls flying over and a late Northern Shrike terrorizing the feeders.
