On my bike ride home today from Peterborough to Lakefield, I saw two Belted Kingfishers at the Sawyer Creek outlet (Lock 25) along River Rd. Also, I ran into Peter Mills along the Rotary bike trail near Trent U. and he heard a single Chorus Frog calling a few times in the flooded fields just N. of Trent as well as Spring Peepers last night on campus.
