When I arrived home at noon I noticed a butterly in our front garden so I got my camera to take a pic. When I returned outside there was a profusion of butterlies – mostly Red Admirals, with at least one Question Mark in the garden . In all the years we have lived here I have never seen anything like this. They were mainly landing in the maple tree, which is flowering, and on the ground as well as on other plants.
