Locally rare Canvasback ducks seen on Otonabee

This afternoon at 4:15 pm I saw 6 Canvasback (3 male, 3 female) on the Otonabee, just north of Lock 23 along River Rd (in the small bay at the bend in the road) between Trent and Lakefield. The males were in their breeding plumage and quite striking. Carrie Sadowski
