Another Snowy Owl seen in the Lindsay area

Today, December 10, at about 3 p.m., there was an adult male Snowy Owl on a power pole along Highway 36, northeast of Lindsay and just before turnoff to the dump.  The bird was pure white. Alan Crook 705-324-0854

More Common Redpolls seen – this time in Warsaw

On December 7, we had 21 Common Redpolls on or below the niger seed feeder, along with one lone American Goldfinch. Recently, we’ve only seen a few goldfinches and Pine Siskins, so possibly this will be the winter of the redpolls, as was suggested in the Examiner. Stephenie and Peter Read more…
