Snowy Owl (Bubo scandiacus) (1)
– Reported Jan 14, 2015 17:20 by Daniel Williams
– Peterborough–Little Lake, Peterborough, Ontario

Checklist:
– Comments: “Appears to be same individual noted 2 days ago. Dark back, either female or young owl. On North side of lake waddling across the ice towards a stoop, looking fluffed up. While watching the owl, a Peregrine Falcon began dive-bombing the owl, with the owl flipping its talons into the air for at least one of the dives. Drove to the North side of lake to get photos, but by the time I got there both birds were gone.”
