This morning, May 30th, between 8 and 8.45 am, I found the following at the water’s edge near Beach #1 at Presqu’ile Provincial Park :
1 Whimbrel, 1 Red Knot, 1 Short-billed Dowitcher, 1 Willet, 20 Ruddy Turnstones, 16 Semipalmated Sandpipers, 1 Least Sandpiper, 14 Sanderling, 3 Semipalmated Plovers, 2 Killdeer, approx. 70 Dunlin. Also on the beach was a Brant Goose.
At Cobourg at 11 am on the rocks at the south end of the harbour were 10 Red Knot, 15 Ruddy Turnstones and a flock of Dunlin.
Best viewing was from the east pier.
